Birthday Girl

It’s Hwajung’s birthday tomorrow, so this class wanted to wish her the best. Last semester, HJ bought Baskin Robbins ice cream for the whole class and lugged it up to the school. She wasn’t sure where I was, so she ended up searching around the floors until she found me. It was entirely unexpected and caught me off guard, but she made a fan out of these girls. I asked them what I should do for her birthday, and if it were up to them, this is what she’d get:
- a kiss
- a marriage proposal
- flowers
- a car
- an apartment
I’d do all that, sure, but what would I follow it up with next year? Anyway, I speak for everyone when I say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Katie is excited about the challenge you are going to give her and she is looking forward to give you a challenge also. Her Mom has been giving her English things to read a lot and Katie is also reading more fiction and non fiction in English than she had although her spelling does not always tell you what language it is. Math and science is the same in all languages I was thinking I should pick up a grade six book to look into
